About the department

Department of Modern Languages provides registered undergraduate and graduate students of DPU with required, elective and professional English language classes. Also, it offers distance learning and other foreign languages classes.

Department of Modern Languages carries out the required and professional English language classes for freshmen and sophomores within the faculties and colleges. In addition, it has been working up to offer elective English classes based on modular system for a sustainable English education.

Distance Learning Unit of the department practices distance learning within the colleges of Emet and Hisarcık.

An elective second foreign language class will be offered for the students at faculties and colleges within the upcoming academic years. The department plans to provide German, French, Spanish, Russian and Japanese classes besides English for professionally well prepared and more qualified graduates
